Good Penny Design is an independent design studio based in Santa Cruz County, California run by me, designer Michaela Clark-Nagaoka.

I have always found it fulfilling to being a part of something supporting the greater good. After nearly a decade at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History (the MAH) helping to create community-centered exhibitions and events, I now enjoy supporting a variety of organizations fighting for social, environmental, and economic justice. I also equally enjoy helping people realize their dreams through their small businesses, creative pursuits, and passion projects.

This studio was founded to create design for people building a more equitable and meaningful world. I can’t wait to hear about the project you are dreaming up.
